YQ203N fatty acid modified alkyd resin

Application Direction

YQ203N is mainly used for polyurethane matte, glossy varnish, and color paint.  

Performance advantages

YQ203N is a fatty acid modified alkyd resin with low odor, good hardness, and high gloss. Used for matte topcoat with good resistance to yellowing and excellent transparency.  

Finished product indicators

Appearance: Slightly yellow viscous liquid

Color: ≤ 1 # (Fe Co)

Viscosity: 30000-50000mpa. s/25 ℃

Solid content: 70 ± 2%

Acid value: ≤ 15mgKOH/g (80%)

Hydroxyl value: 120 ± 10mgKOH/g

Resin Compatibility

1. YQ203N has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.  

2. YQ203N has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.  

Precautions

1. YQ203N product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ203N product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.
