YQ203F coconut oleic acid modified alkyd resin

Application Direction

YQ203F is mainly used for polyurethane gloss, matte varnish and color paint, as well as high-end anti yellowing primer.

Performance advantages

YQ203F is a natural fatty acid modified odorless alkyd resin with fast drying speed, high gloss, good fullness, and low odor. Used for matte topcoat with good yellowing resistance, used for high-end yellowing resistant primer with fast drying speed, good polishing performance, and excellent transparency.

Finished product indicators

Appearance: Clear, transparent or slightly yellow viscous liquid

Solid content (%): 70% ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 30000-50000mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 1#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 140 ± 10mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin Compatibility

1. YQ203F has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ203F has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ203F product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ203F product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.
