YQ209A is mainly used for high-grade polyurethane gloss varnish and color paint.

Performance advantages

YQ209A is an advanced synthetic fatty acid modified alkyd resin, which is not prone to dark bubbles when applied thick, has good leveling, excellent fullness, high gloss, good clarity, good hand feel, and good resistance to yellowing.

Appearance: Clear, transparent, viscous liquid

Solid content (%): 80 ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 10000-30000mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 1#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 140mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin compatibility

1. YQ209A has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ209A has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ209A product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ209A product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.
