YQ206D is mainly used in polyurethane gloss varnish and color paint.

Performance advantages

YQ206D is a synthetic fatty acid modified alkyd resin with good solvent release properties. It is not easy to produce dark bubbles when applied thick, has good leveling properties, fast hardness increase, high gloss, good freshness, good hand feel, and good resistance to yellowing. High cost-effectiveness.

Appearance: Clear, transparent, viscous liquid

Solid content (%): 80 ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 35000-55000mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 1#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 160mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin Compatibility

1. YQ206D has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ206D has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ206D product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ206D product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.

3. Due to the special nature of this product, it may become cloudy after prolonged storage, but it does not affect any performance.
