YQ206B Advanced Saturated Polyester Resin

Application Direction

YQ206B is mainly used in polyurethane gloss varnish and color paint.

Performance advantages

YQ206B is a high-grade saturated polyester resin with high hardness, fast drying speed, good solvent release, thick coating is not prone to dark bubbles, good fullness, high gloss, and good clarity.

Appearance: Clear, transparent, viscous liquid

Solid content (%): 80 ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 35000-55000mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 1#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 160mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin compatibility

1. YQ206B has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ206B has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ206B product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ206B product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.

3. Due to the special nature of this product, it may become cloudy after prolonged storage, but it does not affect any performance.
